Vicki L. (Scribner) Richardson
October 9, 1951 – November 22, 2015

Vicki Lou Richardson of Delta, Ohio was welcomed into God’s loving arms on Sunday, November 22, 2015 while at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 9, 1951 to Ralph and Betty Lou (Shulters) Scribner. She was the oldest of five children.

Vicki attended Whitmer HS, in Toledo, Ohio and it was there, in study hall, where she met the love of her life, her husband and best friend, Robert E. Richardson Jr. Vicki and Rob were married on August 31, 1968.

Vicki was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her husband and four children. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, decorating her home, and caring for others. She was the neighborhood “Mom” that everybody loved. Up until this last year, due to her illness, Vicki and Rob enjoyed many years of their retirement at their cabin in Southern Ohio.

Vicki is survived and will be greatly missed by her wonderful, loving husband of 47 years, Rob; her loving children: Bryan (Sue) Richardson; Bradley (Michelle) Richardson Sr.; Brooke (Dustin) James; Brent “Bo” (Courtney) Richardson; grandchildren: Brianne, Kaylee & Jace Richardson; Aleesha & Hannah Richardson; Ashlee, Alexis & Aaron Jr. Tatkowski; Brent Richardson Jr.; great-grand-daughters: Addison, Chloe & Jordyn, and unborn great-grand daughter Lillyana, due in March. Also surviving are her siblings, Debbie (Rick) Stevens; Connie (Rick) Koehler; Tom (Cheryl) Scribner and Laurie (Tim) Whorley, sister-in-law Renee (Mark) Spann and brother-in-law Mike (Gail) Richardson, along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her spoiled fur-kid Gertrude “Gertie”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in- laws Robert Sr. & Betty Richardson; and her precious grandsons, Bradley R. Richardson Jr. and Bryan “B” Richardson.

Per Vicki’s request, there will be No visitation and Private Burial Services were held at Toledo Memorial Park. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

Family would like to thank Promedica Hospice, especially her nurse, Nancy G. and also Dr. Richard Phinney, and all of the staff at Community Market Pharmacy, Delta, for not only providing wonderful medical care, but for showing true compassion to both Vicki and Rob as well.
