Bruce Ovila Veilleux, age 76, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2015. He was born on December 17, 1938 to the late Anne and Ovila Veilleux in Toledo, Ohio.

Bruce retired from Chrysler Machining after 28 years of service and was a member of Local 1435. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and belonged to G.B.U. Bruce loved animals and never said no to an animal who needed love and attention. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Bruce married Joanne Lindhorst on June 13, 1959 at Trinity Lutheran Church. They enjoyed going to festivals and on trips together.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 56 years, Joanne; Godchildren, Kim Lynn, Bonnie Beamer and Connie Hieber and many friends and other family members.

The family will receive guests from 4-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Ft. Meigs Cemetery.
