William J. "Joe" Leddy
1932 - 2015

William J. “Joe” Leddy, age 82, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Genesis Healthcare. He was born on December 22, 1932 to William James and Betty (Hartney) Leddy in Toledo. Joe was employed as a Shipping Supervisor with Martin Marietta (Woodville Lime and Chemical) for over 20 years before retiring. He was a longtime active member of Grace Lutheran Church and Lutheran Men in Mission of NWO, serving as Past President. Joe enjoyed volunteering at the Toledo Metroparks and served on the board as well.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Leddy; brother, James Leddy; and sister, Carol Cook. Joe is survived by his loving children, Keith (Phillis) Kuba and Marianne (Thomas) Wisner; grandchildren, Kyle Kuba, Jacob Kuba, Jamie Lorentz, Stephanie (Michael) Wahl; and sister, Suzanne Sussman.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Grace Lutheran Church or Lutheran Men in Mission of NWO.
