George Martin Below, age 84, of Toledo, passed away July 28, 2015 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. George was born April 4, 1931 in Oak Harbor to George and Mary (Ralph) Below. He was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School. He proudly served and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. For over 35 years he owned and operated several automotive service stations. In retirement he enjoyed travel and gardening.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his daughter Angela, sisters Irene and Margaret and brothers Tom and Billy. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janis (Brandeberry), sister Anna Mae, and children; George R. (Louise), Patty (John) Hjerpe, George G., Lisa, Theresa, Jim (Angela), Cindy (Tony) Pisano, Rick (Heather) and Steve (Vonia), along with 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Friday, July 31, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 am. in the funeral home followed by burial at Toledo Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church or New Creation Community Church in George's memory.
