Clifford E. Ingersoll, age 86, of Toledo, passed away July 27, 2015. Ted was born June 7, 1929 in Nevada, Ohio to Walter and Margery (Smith) Ingersol. He was employed with the State of Ohio for more than 30 years before retiring. Ted was a member of the American Legion and a member of VFW Post 3265, was an avid ham radio operator and was a member of the Weak Signals RC club. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, Ted was also preceded in death by his sister Barbara. He is survived by his step-daughter, Christine L. Carr, step-son, Donald "Cliff" C. Bartelt.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park with military honors.
