Ray L. "Roy" Williams, age 85, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. He was born on October 7, 1929 to Ray and Mary (Blinn) Williams in Toledo. Roy was a volunteer fireman for Adams Township for 5 years, having earned the nickname, "Red."

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Ray (Liz) Williams and daughter, Debbie (Dan) Ray; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and sister, Janet Gorsuch. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Katherine Williams on July 25, 2007.

The family will receive guests on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 3-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
