Ruby L. Langston, age 80, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by loving family. She was born on February 21, 1935 to Willie and Ruby (McCall) Parker in Marshallville, Georgia. Ruby was a born again Christian and was baptized in April 1998 and she loved the Lord. She retired from GM Powertrain in 2003 after 30 years of service. Ruby enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Langston; and daughter, Gail Leeper. Ruby is survived by her loving children, Shanta (Marquise) McKinney and Joe A. (Tracy) Langston, of Florida; grandchildren, Shemekia (Burrow), Donte (Harmony), Dominic, Shaniece, Ashley, Ambher and Ariel; 5 great-grandchildren; godson, Tony Brown; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) where Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
