Jeannine Marie Marx, of Sylvania Twp., has went on to join her family and Savior in Heaven on Thursday, April 16, 2015. She was born December 20, 1953 to Paul and Patricia (Skali) Shoemaker in Toledo. Jeannine lived a full and happy life. She was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church where she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She married her husband Dean Marx on August 26, 1972. They began to foster children shortly after they married, which was a passion of theirs. Eventually adopting 6 of their foster children to raise as their own. Jeannine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jeannine is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Dean Marx; her children, Vanessa (Steve) Kish, Jeremy (Crystal) Marx, Rebecca (Rick) Miller, Christopher, Benjamin and William Marx; four grandchildren, Jordan, Gabriella, Jakson, and Jadyn; brother, John (Debbie) Shoemaker; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Shoemaker; and granddaughter, Ashleigh.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Liberty Baptist Church.
