Georgia Ann Connelly, age 89, of Toledo, passed away April 10, 2015 at Lutheran Village at Wolfcreek surrounded by her family. Georgia was born December 27, 1925 in Sioux City, Iowa to Jacob and Amy (Studer) Newhouse. She attended Nebraska State Teachers College, Wayne State University and the University of Toledo. Upon graduation she was a school teacher for 7 years and later was employed with the Victor Temporary Services as an Account Executive for more than 18 years. Georgia was a long time member of the Judson Baptist Church. She was a passionate artist and belonged to the Northwest Ohio Watercolor Society, Toledo Womens Art League, Toledo Artists Club and the Bedford Art Club. Georgia's greatest interest was her family and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was also preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene, brother Paul Newhouse and grandaughter Mary Anna Connelly. She is survived by her children,Tom (Kay), Jeanne (Paul) Graham, Jim (Rachel), brother Jerry Newhouse, Grandchildren, Nicole (Todd) Marshall, Michelle (Robb) Lindhorst, Anna Connelly, Shannon Connelly and Brian Connelly, Great Grandchildren Connor, Addison and Eloise Marshall, Charlotte and Caraline Lindhorst.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:30 am. at the funeral home followed by burial at Toledo Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio in Georgia's memory.
