Bette J. Freshour, age 80, passed away at Kingston Care Center in Sylvania, Ohio on Monday, August 13, 2012. She was born on October 4, 1931 to Storm and Dorothy (Roy) Bergendahl in Buffalo, New York. Bette was a registered nurse and retired from Lake Park Rehabilitation Center. She had a great variety of interests and deeply cared for family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffery (Lana) and James (Gail) Freshour; five loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; special extended family members and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Freshour and brother, Robert.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300), with services following visitation.
