Betty J. Jewell, age 88 of Toledo, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, where she was surrounded by her family. She was born December 7, 1923 to Elmer and Francis E. (Gurley) Walker in Toledo.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Rick (Sue) Jewell; daughter-in-law, Carol Jewell; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Jewell and her son, Mark Jewell.

The family will receive guests Monday, May 21, 2012 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Toledo Memorial Park in the Chapel of Peace, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania. Funeral Services will begin in the Chapel of Peace at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
