Theresa Jo Leonard, age 55, of Graytown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in the Toledo Hospital. She was born February 23, 1957 in Toledo to John and Arlene (Heft) Leonard. Theresa was a graduate from McAuley High School and received her Associates Degree in Law Enforcement from the University of Toledo. She then went on to work for Chrysler in various positions, retiring in 2008. Theresa loved animals, gardening and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. The most important part of Theresa’s life was her family especially her niece and nephews and great niece and nephew.

Left to cherish Theresa’s memory are her sisters, Susan (Bob) Leech and Patricia (William) Roper; niece, Jessica Roper; nephews, Adam (Nikki) Leech, Andrew (Cailin) Leech, Jonathan and Benjamin Roper; great niece, Marissa Leech and great nephew, Anthony Leech; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive guests Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 104 West Broadway Street, Maumee, Ohio. Burial in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions to the Toledo Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
