Obituary for Martha Joyce Saxer
1921 - 2010

Martha Joyce Saxer, age 89, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4th, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born January 14th, 1921 in Barberton, Ohio to Emily and Nelson Evans. Martha married Edwin Saxer in November 1943 and together they raised 5 children. Martha was so proud to have served in the Navy. She was a homemaker until her children were grown, then she enjoyed a career in Real Estate.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; son, Jon; and daughter, Kathlyn. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth (Robert) Reighard; sons, Randy and Tim; grandchildren, Jonathan; Christopher; Stephanie; Rebecca; Alyssa and Joshua; great grandchildren, Rayner; Rory and Londynn.

Private Services were held for Martha on Monday, March 8th, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
