Shirley A. Mockensturm, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Kingston Memory Care of Sylvania. She was born on April 25, 1936 to Harold and Sarah (Bowling) Powlesland. Shirley enjoyed camping with her husband Ray, in their RV. She was a wonderful cook and her specialty was fried chicken! Shirley took great pride in her working career; she worked for Hill's and Woolco Department Stores as a Credit Manager and also at Anderson's as a brand and demo specialist. Shirley loved the Lord and Gospel music.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Mockensturm and son, Timothy Mockensturm. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbie (Bob) David and son, Tom (Julie) Mockensturm; many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Powlesland and nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be Private in Restlawn Memorial Park.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Kingston for their beautiful and gentle care over the past two years and for taking her in as if she were a dear member of their family. Also to Ohio Living Hospice who helped mom and the family get through this very difficult time.
