Leona R. (Burnham) Wirick, age 72, of Toledo, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Mercy St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 31, 1945 to Cyril “Pat” and Mary (Davenport) Burnham in Toledo. Leona enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved the time spent with her family and friends who will deeply miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Sprague; grandson, Adam Poturalski; and 9 siblings. Leona is survived by her loving children, Tammy (Jake) Jacobs, Paul (Lori) Poturalski, Karen Poturalski and Scot (Tonya) Poturalski; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dale (Vicki) Burnham; sisters, Lila Bartel and Cheryl Eddings; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
