Elizabeth A. “Betty” Watson, age 83, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center with loving family by her side. She was born on November 13, 1934 to Urban and Margaret (Mulligan) Falter in Toledo. Betty was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2898. She retired from St. Luke’s Hospital on Robinwood after many years. Betty enjoyed cooking and watching the Detroit Tigers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Watson; brother, Edward J. Falter; brothers-in-law, John F. Savage and Ronald N. Mason; and sister-in-law, Phyllis (Starkey) Falter. Betty is survived by her loving siblings, Kate Savage, Jack Falter and Marita “Mickey” Mason; sister-in-law, Theresa (Kreuz) Falter; and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Betty will be Private. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
The family would like to give a special thank you to staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Heart Center for their kind and gentle care given to Betty.
