Ricky A. Brescol, age 65, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, April 16, 2018 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born January 5, 1953 to Harold and Audrey (Leonard) Brescol in Toledo. Ricky was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed with Libbey Glass for 16 years until retiring. Ricky was known to his friends as “the dog walker.” He enjoyed watching sports, playing pool, watching movies and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Brescol; sister, Sandy Brescol; niece, Destiney Beringer. Ricky is survived by his loving partner of 34 years, Chuck Bowman; daughters, Leigh (Ashras) Khella and Amanda (Darren) Capron; 2 grandchildren; canine companion, Edo; father, Harry Brescol; sisters, Sherri Brescol, Laurie (Bobby) Beringer, Christine (Richard) Chaney and Lisa (Don) Brescol; brothers, Thomas (Angela) and Stevie (Patty) Brescol; and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

The family had a Private Gathering on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with immediate family, but invite all other family members and dear friends to join them to Celebrate Ricky’s life on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Jerry’s Pub, 832 Ash St., Toledo, OH 43611 any time after 4:00 p.m. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Ricky are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
