Rocky L. Hergenreder, age 71, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on September 2, 1946 in Denver, Colorado. Rocky was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was an avid history buff and enjoyed making random things for others. Rocky will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rocky is survived by his loving wife of almost 18 years, Rebecca Hergenreder; son, Eric (Erika) Hergenreder; daughter, April (Todd) Axberg; grandson, Connor Hergenreder; brother, Randy (Ada) Hergenreder; sister, Sandra Hergenreder; 2 nieces and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation for Rocky per his wishes and a Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held in California at a later date. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
