Anton E. "Tony" "Don" Viertlbeck, age 87, of Toledo, passed away March 19, 2018 at Heartland at ProMedica. Anton was born October 11, 1930 in Toledo to Joseph and Grace (Kaufmann) Viertlbeck. He was employed with the Hausman Steel for several years before his retirement. He was a member of the Bavarian Sports Club.

He is survived by his children, Tony (Allyson) Viertlbeck, and Debra A. Pollard; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, brothers, Alex, Joseph and Frank and son-in-law, Jack Pollard.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Newcomer - Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in his memory.
