1963 - 2018

Linda Mary Taylor, age 54, of Toledo, OH died March 6th at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born on October 16, 1963 in Bellevue, OH to Wilbur J. Taylor and Rosemary Ruffing Taylor. Linda was a 1982 graduate of Columbian High School. She worked at Whirlpool in Clyde for many years and earned an Associate Degree in CAD Design at Bowling Green State Univeristy, Firelands Campus.

Linda loved animals and had many beautiful Labrador retrievers, German shepherds and cats over the years. She had artistic talents in both oil and water color paintings and loved outdoor activities.

Linda is survived by five siblings, Susan (Lester) Hall of Bonner Ferry, ID, Christine (David) Gottschalk of Sylvania, OH, Thomas Taylor of Harsens Island, MI, Catherine (Robert) Swenson of York, PA and Patrick Taylor of Tiffin, OH. She is also survived by two nephews, Mathew and Andrew (Beth) Hall; five nieces, Andrea (Alan Bratton) Taylor and Kelly Taylor, Kate (Dr. David) Gottschalk Liebelt and Michelle and Shannon Swenson; 2 grand-nieces, Aubrey and Kailyn Hall; and 2 grand-nephews, David Liebelt, Jr. and Oliver Taylor Bratton.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be planned at a later date. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

The family wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Great Lakes Hospice and the Ridgewood Manor staff for their compassionate care.
