Patricia A. “Pat” Buehrer, age 68, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Toledo Hospital with her loving husband by her side. She was born on August 19, 1949 to Melvin and Rose (Olszewski) Mazany in Toledo. Pat went to Harvard elementary school and OLPH and then attended Bowsher High School. She married Dale Buehrer September 1, 1966 at Peace Lutheran Evangelical Church and then they re-married on September 27, 1967 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. Pat was a professional waitress for many years working at various places including; Steve’s Time & Place, Wittenburg’s, the Longhorn on Sylvania and Phillips, Hot Sizzling Wok, Olympia’s on Alexis Rd. and then she retired from Zacharia’s Eatery. She also worked for Johnny’s Pet Shop for 3 years and loved all animals. Pat and her husband participated in dog shows and bird shows for many years as well. She also became active in sports car racing in her later years, attending races at Toledo and Flat Rock Speedway.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Dale Buehrer; cousins, Veronica (Mike) Hoffman, Sandy (Jim) McGowan, Linda (John) Moran and Karen Wheatly; sisters-in-law, Katherine Benford and Margaret Aton; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no visitation or services per Pat’s request. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
