Theodore "Ted" Maxson, age 75, of Waterville, passed away February 2, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Ted was born December 17, 1942 in Toledo to Clifford and Lucille (Koralewski) Maxson. He was a 1961 graduate of St. Francis de Sales. Ted married Diana Crilly February 17, 1967. He was employed with the DeVilbiss Company and retired from Teledyne. He enjoyed woodworking, his water garden and fish pond, organic gardening, the Metro parks; loved Jeeps, racing and motorcycles, books, history, science, collected antique tools, he said the serenity prayer for 31 years

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diana S. Maxson, children, Kimberly (John) Ertle, Michael Maxson, Todd A. (Laurel) Maxson; grandchildren, Cory, Colin, Ian, Devon, Rachael, Allison, Meagan, Kash and 3 great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Friday, February 9, 2018 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 1:00 pm. at the funeral home followed by burial at Toledo Memorial Park.

"Do what's right. Be kind and forgiving. I have all the faith in the world in the next generation, they believe in science, the environment, health care. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." Love you all deeply, Grandpa

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Ted's memory.
