Reneé Francis (Paul) Simpson, age 59, of Toledo, passed away from heart complications on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Toledo Hospital where she was surrounded by her children. She was born on January 9, 1959 in Alameda, California. Reneé met "Hippie" Dave while service in the Army. They were married on November 21, 1980 and they resided in Toledo, Ohio. Reneé graduated from the University of Toledo with her Bachelor Degree in Social Work. She loved the outdoors and all animals.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Heather Whitaker (Dean Versansky); son, Joshua Simpson; mother in law, Patricia Simpson-Pribe; sister in law, Linda Simpson; nephew, Jacob Simpson and niece, Andrea Simpson. She was preceded in death by husband, David Simpson; father, Loring F. Paul and "Buddy."
At Reneé's request, there will be no services. In her memory, her family requests you cook a great meal and bake some delicious desserts and have it in her honor.
