Rob was a 1985 graduate of Central Catholic High School and played Varsity Football for 3 years. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toledo. Rob retired from General Motors as a Production Supervisor. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter. Rob also liked to play golf with his brother.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Nicole Shoviak; mother, Susan (Mike) Alt; brother, Mark (Dawn) Shoviak; step-siblings, Lawrence (Greta) Alt, Todd (Stefanie) Alt, Jeff (Beth) Alt, Aaron Alt, Stephanie (Dan) Pitts and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Shoviak and twin brother, Christopher Shoviak.
The family will receive guests on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 10-11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church-Maumee, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to: The Central Catholic High School Scholarship Fund.
