Sean S. Shadix, age 31, of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly January 14, 2018. He was born March 16, 1986 in Toledo to Steve (Robin) Shadix and Cindy (James) Hannum. Sean was full of life, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and football. The greatest joy of Sean’s life was being a father and husband.

Sean is survived by his parents, Cindy (James) Hannum and Steve (Robin) Shadix; wife, Jennifer Skeels; daughter, Harper Shadix; son, Jaxson Shadix; sister, Morgan Shadix; brother, Nathan Shadix; nephew, Gunnar Shadix; grandparents, Linda VanderPol, Frederick (Darlene) VanderPol, Mary Shadix and James and Mary Hannum; mother-in-law, Karen Skeels; father-in-law, William Skeels; uncles, Mark (Carla) VanderPol, Todd VanderPol and Ed (Ricki) Benner; aunts, Jodi Shadix and Susan Benner; step-brothers, Chad VanPelt, Cory Iott and Matthew Hannum; and many cousins. Sean was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernie Shadix; uncles, Brent VanderPol and William Benner; and aunt, Beth Shadix.

The family will receive guests Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
