Richard "Esia" J. Adamski, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 1, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born January 3, 1929 in Toledo to George and Veronica (Andrejan) Adamski. Richard served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service for more than 32 years retiring December 31, 1989.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lucille G. Adamski; sons, Jeffrey J. Adamski and Douglas J. Adamski; brother, Raymond "Pete" Adamski and sisters-in-law, Ruth Adamski and Nancy Pusher. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph, Chester, Leonard, Walter and Edmund Adamski, Angeline Piojda, Virginia Adamski, Irene Adamski, Dorothy Czubachowski and Rita Gray.

The family will receive guests Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
