Joan E. Morris, age 90, passed away peacefully after a sudden illness, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 11, 2017. She was born on November 8, 1927 to Abner and Verna Fetter in Montpelier, Ohio. Joan was thankful for being raised and well provided for, by the Lutheran Orphans Home where she met the love of her life, David E. Morris. Above all she was a dedicated wife, mother, gramy and great-gramy to her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sandra (Ed) Lepiarz and son, David W. (Sherry) Morris; daughter in law, Julie Morris; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kim), Corey (Tracey), Rachael (Chris), Elizabeth (Nick), Joanna (Jeff), Nick, Elisha and Laura; great-grandchildren, Carlee, Austin, Anderson, Camille, Bella, Cora and August and special nieces, Sharon and Debbie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David and son, Thomas.

At Joan's request, her private graveside service was held on Friday, December 15, 2017 in Toledo Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the staff, especially the surgical staff at Toledo Hospital for the care they provided.
