Cathy Lynn Villanueva, age 59, of Warren, passed away December 10, 2017 at St John Providence Hospital. Cathy was born December 7, 1958 in Saginaw to John and Lorraine (Zielinski) Mallek. Cathy was a registered nurse. She enjoyed writing short stories and watching classic movies.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel A Villanueva, children, Johnathan R. (Megan) Burroughs, Victoria M. (PJ) Shaw, Charles R. (Jamie) Burroughs, siblings, Linda Nesbit, Frank Mallek, David Mallek, Lori Badour; nine grandchildren, Brooklynn, Lincoln, Jonah, Owen, Addelynn, Zane, Lilah, Lydia and Elliot.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive guests Friday, December 15, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 am.at the funeral home

Memorial contributions may be made to Toledo Area Humane Society in Cathy's memory.
