In Memory Of
Kyle R. Mauk
1971 - 2017
In 2002, Kyle married Jennifer Diekman, former wife and they have two children together, Mason (2004) and Ava (2006). Kyle was an avid Ohio State fan, and never missed the opportunity to root for the Scarlet and Grey in all sports. Always a jokester and kind-at-heart, Kyle never ceased to find the ‘silver lining’ in any situation. Kyle loved nothing more than watching football and supporting his children in any sports or school functions they were involved in. He loved spending time with his family, hanging out and spending time at the lake with friends.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Wayne (Karen) Mauk; children, Mason and Ava; former wife, Jennifer (Diekman) Mauk; brother, Andrew (Jessica) Mauk; nieces, Lila and June Mauk; nephew, Nash Mauk; former mother-in-law, Jacqueline Diekman Hawk; former-in-laws, Mike (Ann), Diane(Bill), Connie(Ron), Aimee(Dan); Nephews, Jeremy, Zachary, Nathaniel, William, Jacob, Justin and Derek and nieces, Kelsey and Ashley.
The family will receive guests from 5-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). His Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Presbyterian Church, 4225 Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Tom Schwartz officiating. A luncheon will follow after the service.
The family requests any donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to Christ Presbyterian Church. It is also requested that in Kyle’s honor, please get your bone marrow typed so that it can offer help to others who are battling blood cancers and promote blood cancer awareness.
