Tamela, age 53, of South Toledo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7th surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 13th, 1964 to Charles and Elizabeth Howe. Tami was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her entire life to her family. Tami recently celebrated 25 years of marital bliss with her husband and best friend, Richard Worthington. Tami had a heart of gold and spent life raising 4 boys, her favorite hobby was spoiling her grandkids and playing slots with her best friend Vivian Boehk. While receiving treatment for her cancer and working as a medical assistant at UTMC, she graduated from Stautzenberger with an associate’s degree in billing/coding.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; brother, Stacey. Tami is survived by her husband, Richard; sons Richard II, Ray (Lauren), Tim (Abby), and Nick (Victoria); granddaughters, Kennedy, Isabella, Elliot, and Amelia; mother, Elizabeth Howe; siblings, Charles, Debbie, and Lisa (Roy)

The family will receive guests Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Newcomer – SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
