Lary D. Seitz, age 69, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Toledo Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born June 25, 1948 to Dale and Bernita (Roskeda) Seitz in Monroe, MI and grew up on a farm in Dundee which he dearly loved. Lary was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving for 4 years. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 35 years before retiring to spend time with his family, RV’ing, and the dogs. Lary’s greatest philosophy was to remind us to do things the “right way.” He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Lary is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joanne Seitz; son. Jeff Seitz; daughter, Jill (Shawn) Balestro; grandchildren, Baylie, Brady, Cayden, Sawyer, and Harper; father, Dale Seitz; brother, Gary Seitz; and faithful canine companion, Ginger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernita Seitz.

There will be no visitation for Lary and a Celebration of Life for his family will be held Privately. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Lary are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society or the Lucas County Canine Care & Control.
