Thomas L. "Tom" Cook
1932 - 2017

Thomas L. “Tom” Cook, age 85, of Lambertville, MI, passed away peacefully Monday, November 13, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo with loving family by his side. He was born on August 31, 1932 to Walter and Lucille Cook in Toledo. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was employed for over 35 years before retiring from Key Bank as the Branch Manager. Tom enjoyed bowling and golfing. He loved spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Laura Cook. Tom is survived by his son, Scott Cook; daughter, Kay (David) Rutkowski; sister, Phyllis (Ross) Graves; sister-in-law, Patsy Gaines; niece, Jill (Gary) Langenderfer; and nephew, Jeff (Debbie) Quigg.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 3 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo for all of their love, care and support given to Tom and our family through this difficult time.
