Margaret M. “Peggy” Johnson passed away November 2, 2017. Margaret was born October 8, 1940 to the late Rolland and Elizabeth Christie in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Margaret enjoyed volunteering at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry. She also enjoyed collecting owls and using her green thumb for gardening. She served her country, for 26 years, through enlisting in the Army in 1958. Peggy also served as a Supply Sargent for the Ohio Army National Guard.

Left to cherish Margaret’s memory are her children Bradley Johnson, Kathleen Crouch and Jamie Johnson; grandchildren, Gloria, Joey, Bryan, Megan, Lauren and Patricia; sisters, Judith Miller, Marilyn Heitzman, Charlene Shutter, Ann Aldrich and Hellen Ray; brothers, James Christie, Robert Christie and Rolland Christie.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1825 Glendale Ave., Toledo OH, 43614 (419 382 5644).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made out to The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
