Peggy L. (Wandersee) Fischer, age 65, of Whitehouse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 13, 2017 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born on August 28, 1952 to Russell and Delores Jane (VanBuskirk) Wandersee in Toledo. Peggy was a 1970 graduate of Sylvania High School. Throughout most of her life she was a medical transcriptionist in Toledo, having worked at The Toledo Hospital and Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. In her spare time she enjoyed the ocean, warm weather, family genealogy, tending to her flowers and gardening.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Deanna (Todd) Lawrence; grandchildren, Michael Lindsey Jr., Markus (MacKenzie) Lindsey, Rachael, Zachary and Gabriel Lawrence; great-grandson, Jayce Lindsey and brothers, Ralph Wandersee and Jeff (Becky) Wandersee. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her family will receive guests on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300).
