E. Dolores "Dee" Reddick
1928 - 2017

E. Dolores “Dee” Reddick, age 89, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Genesis Healthcare of Point Place. She was born on October 8, 1928 to Ernest and Edna (Bissell) Measimer in Orrum, North Carolina. Dee was an avid gardener, loved sewing and very involved with International Exchange Students. She was a longtime member of Shelton Park Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Hoyt and Billy Measimer; sister, Ferrell Semler. Dee is survived by her loving daughters, Marcia Poczekaj, Deborah (Sam) Cabral, Gail Smith and Denise (David Klucas) Evans; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen (Robert) Papa; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with the Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
