Sarah M. Lahna, age 66, of Toledo, passed away October 5, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. She was born August 31, 1951 in Coshocton, Ohio to Robert and Mary (Roahrig) Lahna. Sarah was employed with the Monastery of the Visitation for more than 8 years. Sarah was always helping someone. Whether it be with lawn care, weeding flowerbeds or running errands, Sarah could be depended on to do just what the situation needed without a complaint. Ever the giver, Sarah could usually be found around the grounds of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church finding ways to pretty up the grounds or doing "just what was needed."

Left to to keep Sarah's memory alive is her son, Bryan "Chia" P. (Jennifer) Lahna; grandchildren, Allison Stachura, Modesto Sanchez and Cassidy Lahna; siblings, Chuck (Connie) Lahna, Kenny (Jean) Lahna, Patricia (John) Harsh, Regina (Ken) Schilling, Janice (Scott) Bossart and Steve (Lisa) Lahna and best friend, Mary Jo Piltcher, and many, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sarah never met a stranger and had so many great friends we would run out of space listing each and every one of you, please know you were always in her heart and on her mind.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 434 Western Ave Toledo, Ohio 43609. Per Sarah's request, calling hours for family and friends wishing to pay respects will be received after her services at the Toledo Police Patrolman Association Hall, 1947 Franklin Ave Toledo, Ohio 43604 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. to continue to celebrate Sarah’s life. Interment will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11am at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Coshocton, Ohio.

Sarah was a giver and in her spirit, the family requests in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Immaculate Conception Church in Toledo, Ohio.
