Clement "Ozzie" Perretti
1930 - 2017

Clement “Ozzie” Perretti, age 87, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Vibrant Life Senior Living. He was born July 8, 1930 to Joseph and Eva (Yanncone) Perretti in Plainfield City, New Jersey. Ozzie graduated from Macomber in 1948. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Ozzie was also known as “Red” to his friends at Gallent Lumber Company where he was the foreman of the mill for many years before retiring. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, and taking trips to the casinos and Raceway park.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Thomas Lett; loving wife of 20 years, Sylvia Perretti; daughter, Deborah Perretti; and brothers, Joseph and Nicholas Perretti. Ozzie is survived by his daughter, Mary Beth Kamper; brother, Robert (Judy) Perretti; special friend, Madrienne Birr; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation for Ozzie per his request. Private Services were held. Interment was Private at Toledo Memorial Park. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel, Toledo assisted the family with professional services.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Ozzie are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the American Cancer Society.
