William Charles Reichler, age 82, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Heartland of Waterville. He was born on June 1, 1935 to William John and Marguerite Ruth (Potts) Reichler in Toledo. Bill attended Macomber and Libbey High School and proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He retired from Chrysler-Jeep in 2000 after 22 years of service. Bill was a member of UAW Local 12. When he wasn't working he enjoyed rooting for The Ohio State Buckeye's football team and Cleveland Indian's baseball team. After retirement Bill looked forward to taking his daily walks in the neighborhood where he was able to visit with his local neighbors.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Robert (Denise) Reichler; grandchildren, Siera and Ryan (Hannah) Reichler; brother, Jim "Jumbo" (Mary) Reichler; brother in law, Marty Nagy, Sr.; uncle, Robert (Marilyn) Potts; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert E. "Buster" Reichler and sister, Judith Ann Nagy.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery (Parkside Blvd. and Dorr St.) with Fr. Al Ceranowski officiating. The Lucas County Veterans Burial Corps will provide Military Honors.
