Lance G. Warnke, age 28, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 11, 2017. He was born on August 3, 1989 to Lenn and Cari (Draur) Warnke in Toledo. Lance graduated from Start High School in 2007. He excelled in woodworking and anything pertaining to working with his hands. Lance was a member of Local 18 Ohio Operating Engineers. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, loved golfing, and spending time with his friends and family. Lance was fun loving, always the life of the party and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cari Warnke; grandparents, Gary Warnke, and Teddy and Iggy Draur. Lance is survived by his loving parents, Lenn (Amy) Warnke; sisters, Ashlei and McKenzi Warnke; longtime girlfriend, Ashley Lumbrezer; grandparents, Marilynn (Terry) Williams; special aunt, Sue Ciesinski; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Lance are asked to consider Harbor Behavioral Health.
