Robert F. Pozner, age 89, of Toledo, passed away September 1, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. Robert was born in Toledo, Ohio November 25, 1927 to Frances (Rominski) Pozner. Bob was an U.S. Army veteran serving in England during the Queen’s coronation. He was employed with Food Town for more than 31 years retiring in the early 1990’s. Bob enjoyed traveling, attending the shows at the Stranahan and going to the casino.
Bob is survived by his lifelong partner of 58 years, Dale V. Przeslawski; step-daughters, Linda (Lou) Costell and Lee (Michael) Mertz; step-granddaughter, Lindsey (Barry) Williams; sister-in-law, Sandra Craley; nieces, Debbie (Chris) Seibert, Ann (Jeremy) Winch, Lisa Layne and Kim Craley and many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church or ProMedica Hospice in Bob's memory.
