He is survived by his siblings, Dorothy (Allen) Golden, Helen (Joseph) Miller, John Cortez, Jr., Robert Cortez, Gloria Flores and Stephen (Deb Campos) Cortez and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and 4 siblings, Juanita, Catherine, Louie and Elizabeth.
The family will receive guests Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Visitation will also be held Monday at SS Peter and Paul Church 728 St. Clair St. Toledo with Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family
