Joanne was a homemaker, loved playing bridge and pincole. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, bowling, reading, knitting, and crocheting. For over 15 years, Joanne volunteered her time at the Satellite Gift Shop at MCO. Joanne was a loving mother and grandmother, being involved with her family, having all the holiday dinners at her home, and teaching her grandchildren how to play rummy.
Left to cherish Joanne’s memories are her children, Karen (Robert) Merritt, Julie (Thomas) Chladny, Christine Cerveny, and John “Jack” (Marianne) Pearson; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding Joanne in death is her loving husband, John B. Pearson Jr.; her aunt, Florence; uncles, Bill and Ed
The family will be receiving guests Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Glenwood Lutheran Church, 2545 Monroe Street, Toledo (419-255-0886). Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made out to Glenwood Lutheran Church or Donor's choice.
