Robert L. "Blaze, Bobby, Mob, and Bob" Flagg Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 4, 2017. Rob was born on August 29, 1971 to the Robert Flagg Sr. and Rita Dalton in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Blaze enjoyed being a father of 3 beautiful kids and loving husband for 14 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially fishing with his son. Bobby loved manning the grill to feed family and friends at BBQs. He had a great sense of humor, whether it be embarrassing his kids or telling jokes, Mob was able to put a smile on anyone’s face. He was a stay at home dad supporting his family and never missing any events for his children. Bob also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. He was recently baptized at the Road Community Church in Fenton, Michigan.

Left to cherish Robert’s memory is wife Mandy; children; Chloe, Olivia, and Robert III; mother, Rita Dalton; grandmother, Frances Dalton; siblings, Donna (Lloyd) Helm, Michele Flagg, Anthony West, Aja Flagg, and Alexander Flagg; nieces, Tanisha, Shalonda (Phil), Tylia, and Liyah; nephews, Anthony Jr., Tajon, and LA , cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews; aunts, Mary, Annette, and Maggie; step-mom, Karen Flagg; mother-in-law, Debra (Richard); cherished friends, Tuff, Matt, Dan, Daiego, Keith, Guber, Broderick, Dale, Reese, and Tim.

Preceding Robert in death is his father, Robert L. Flagg Sr.; daughter, Candace; uncle Charles Dalton; great-nephew, Richard Scrivner; cousin, Crystal Duncan; nephew, Dominique; and niece, Marika.

Family will be receiving guests Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Service will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m.

In honor of Robert’s love for Michigan please come with proper Michigan gear. MAIZE & BLUE!!!
