Rev. Eugene L. “Gene” Grady, Jr., age 77, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on February 29, 1940 to Eugene Sr. and Rose Marie (Louie) Grady in Toledo. Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. serving his country proudly. He was employed with GM Powertrain for over 30 years before retiring. Gene served the Lord and held services at Point Place Care and Rehab twice a month. He was the Founder and Director of Yahweh Food Pantry and member of Stateline Community Church. Gene enjoyed fishing, bowling and loved nothing more than spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Gerald Grady; and daughter, Jennifer Grady. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Grady; children, Tim Grady, Tony (Colleen) Grady and Lynn (Michael) Trabbic; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (David) Hankenhof; sister-in-law, Hollis Grady; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will take place at 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
