Nathan A. Jaynes, age 64, of Toledo, passed away July 16, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Nathan was born November 21, 1952 in Mendenhall, Mississippi to Nathaniel and Mary Jaynes. He was employed as a tool and die machinist and "Jack of all trades" helping who ever was in need. He was a member of the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. He enjoyed cooking, outdoor barbeques, gardening, camping, spending time with family and traveling. He always looked forward to attending the yearly family reunion.

In addition to his father, Nathan was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary E. Bohannon . He is survived by his sons, Nathaniel (Jill) Jaynes and Jason A. (Katie) Jaynes, Mother, Mary Jaynes, brothers, Anthony Jaynes, LaGrant Jaynes, Keith Jaynes, sisters, Denise Jaynes, Shelia Jaynes, Vicky (Jacob) Gaffney, sisters-in -law, Dianne Hawkins, Tommi Noel-Martin and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive guests Friday, July 21, 2017 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, OH 43623. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 12:00 pm. at the funeral home followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gethsemane Christian Discipleship Church Wounded Healers - Healing Care Group in Nathan's memory.
