Glenn F. Chambers, Sr., age 84, passed away on June 11, 2017 surrounded by his beloved family. He was born on September 9, 1932 to the late Tillie and George Chambers in Clay Center, Ohio.

Glenn retired from Wesson Homes after 29 years as a carpenter. He enjoyed baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers and Toledo Mud Hens. Glenn loved his family and spending time with them. He adored his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Norma J.; brothers, Don, Jim and Bob; son-in-law, Alex Taliga. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jean Taliga, Linda (Ricky) RedBear, Glenn Jr. (Rose) and David (Chris); sisters, Doris and Ruth; grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Brittany, Courtney, Anthony, Ashley, Jacob and Glenn; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Maraya, Brooke, Jayden, Cameron, Jaliyah, Mia and Jordan.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
