In Memory Of
Richard D. Ramer
1940 - 2017

Richard D. Ramer, age 77, went to join his guardian angel, Kayla on May 18, 2017. He was born on February 2, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Edith and George Ramer.

Rich graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1959. He served in the U.S. Army. Rich worked at DANA Corp. for 41 years. He retired from TTC in 2001. Rich was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating, hunting and golfing, but his passion was fishing. The most important thing in his life was his family. Rich especially loved spending time at Bird Lake with them. He was his grandkids “#1 Sports Fan” and had a special bond with each of them.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and caring wife of 54 years, Pat; children, Todd (Cheryl), Terry (Michele) and Tracy O’Leary (Shawn Fowler); grandchildren, Kristen, Kyle, Jordan, Taylor and Jade Ramer and Hunter O’Leary. Rich was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; grandchildren, Kayla and Kaden Ramer. He also leaves behind many good friends, neighbors and relatives.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at CedarCreek Church, 6950 Whitehouse Square Blvd, Whitehouse, OH 43571 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
