Taylor M. Wendel, age 22, of Toledo, Ohio passed away May 16, 2017 at University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1994 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Ross Wendel and Shawn (Staniszewski) Coon. She attended Blissfield High School for three years and graduated from Sylvania Northview in 2012. Taylor was employed with Capable Kids LLC as a paraprofessional for more than 5 years. Taylor had a special place in her heart for kids with Autism and their families. She had a great love of music and led worship service at church.

Taylor is survived by her father, Ross (Jeff Taylor) Wendel; mother, Shawn (Jamie) Coon; children, Kaleb and Lila Franklin, who were Taylor’s whole world; sister, Brooke Wendel; niece, Madison Murray; step-siblings, Taylor, Wesley and Luke Coon; Fiance, Dwight Franklin; grandparents, Luann Wendel, Ray (Shirley) Staniszewski and Ronald (Donna) Mullen; and many aunts, unlces and cousins. Taylor was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frederick Wendel.

The family will receive guests Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Road. Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 am at Heritage Church of God.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylor Wendel Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank in Taylor's memory.
