1931 - 2017

Frank J. Jozsa, Jr, age 86, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 14, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 28, 1931 to Frank Sr. and Anna (Lose) Jozsa in Toledo. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing especially deep sea fishing. Frank was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a hard worker and very dedicated husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 1 brother; and daughter, Jill Jean Jozsa. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ellen Jozsa; daughters, Tami (Terry) Lindquist and Kelly (Greg) Townsend; 1 son; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; canine companions, Annabelle and Rocky; parrots, Reuben and Babe; and many other family members and dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services for Frank at this time per his request. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all of their love, care and support given to Frank and his family through this difficult time. Also, a special thank you to the Sylvania Firefighters for their help and support.
