In Memory Of
Anna Sue Irving
1939 - 2017
The greatest joy in her life came from her grandchildren, Dr. Jacob (Sarah) Mortemore, Preston Mortemore, James F. Irving IV and Jennifer Irving. She was always proud of them and loved every minute she spent with them. She especially enjoyed family holidays, always having her door open and welcoming anyone in for a wonderful meal, great stories and laughter.
She devoted her entire life spreading the word of God and bringing people to Christ. She was always there to unite young couples, bless the babies, pray for the sick and walk souls home to the Lord. She gave herself unselfishly to all of those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Forest, Billy and Rev. David Fannin; sisters, Betty Lou Fannin and Nancy Polcwiartek.
Left to cherish her memory are her children and grandchildren; brother, Dr. Kerby (Annette) Fannin; sister, Judy (Mike) Harris; sister-in-law, Linda Fannin; special friend, Dawn Hardy; along with many precious nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers please go to church with your families and put something extra in the offering plate to help spread the word of God.
The family will receive guests on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Bible Temple Church, 3327 Airport Hwy. (419-385-7225). Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
